Pope Francis Invites You to the Season of Creation
EJP
He waka eke noa - No one is unwelcome in our canoe.
Community Dinner
The EJP Group in partnership with Greenstone Doors are holding a community family dinner, particularly for young struggling families in the north of our district. This will be at the Chanel Family Centre, Main Road, Upper Hutt at 6 pm on Tuesday 1st of February. If any parishioners are able to donate time, food or money to support this we would be very grateful. Please ring Judy Dixon or Teresa Homan.
Three Dimensions of Laudato Si’
The EJP group is working with the Archdiocese EJP Commission’s Integral Ecology Committee, and groups from Plimmerton, Upper Hutt and Ōtari parishes to present a Day of reflection on The Three Dimensions of Laudato Si’. This will be hosted at Cardinal McKeefry school in Wilton on Saturday 20th of March from 10 am to 4:30 pm. It would be good to have a significant number of people attend from our Parish so please put this date in your diary. We are looking at shared transport or possibly a bus.
We have some plans proposed for this coming year which we will advertise as they are developed. One of these is a proposal to run a course on basic sign language. If you would be interested in taking part in this or have some experience you can offer, we welcome you to contact us to talk through the idea.
Anyone wanting to join the EJP group or have an issue of justice they would like to raise with us please contact us.

Think Globally and act Locally
“A real concern today is that liturgy and social justice tend to be treated as two unrelated activities in the life of the Church... the equality we know at the table of Christ’s Body must be celebrated at all other tables.”
